Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to share, promote, preserve and present Bluegrass and other forms of traditional American Folk Music and Dance for the enrichment and enjoyment of our community.

Pickin’ in the Pines is a world-class bluegrass & acoustic music festival first held in 2006. The festival honors the interests of the diverse membership of Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music (FFOTM), featuring the best traditional and contemporary bluegrass music, complemented by other styles of acoustic music which include old-time, Celtic, gypsy jazz and more.

The festival also features educational workshops and a renowned band contest, all in a family-friendly setting under magnificent blue skies and towering pines. Camping and jamming are also a big part of the Pickin’ in the Pines experience.
