2010 Festival RulesSeating LogisticsThere are plenty of seating options at Pickin’ in the Pines. The lush lawns of Pine Mountain Amphitheater offer plenty of space to spread a tarp or blanket or place a low-profile lawn chair. Built-in stadium-style seats underneath the covered extension of the amphitheater roof are general admission (first-come, first-served) seating. There is a large area in front of the stage where you may use the provided folding chairs, or set up your own lawn chair. Shade tarps or canopies may only be set up along the back fence of the venue (on the lawn). Please be considerate by not blocking others’ views of the stage. The performers deserve to have a full audience in front of the stage. If you leave your seats unattended, they are available for others to sit in until you return. Please confine dancing to the designated areas to the left and right of the stage. Again, please do not obstruct the view of those behind you. Recording & PhotographyYou may bring cameras, small camcorders and audio recording devices to Pickin’ in the Pines. No flash photography is permitted. Do not obstruct the view of those around you. This is a taper-friendly festival. You may not use any type of photograph or recording from Pickin’ in the Pines for commercial purposes without express permission. fountains inside the amphitheater. Vehicles & ParkingThere is plenty of free parking available at Pickin' in the Pines with free shuttles between parking lots, campground and amphitheater. Handicap parking is available only to those with valid, state-issued permits. Pine Mountain Amphitheater offers premium parking near the amphitheater at a cost of $10 per vehicle per day. The WeatherThis is a “rain or shine event,” so bring your rain gear just in case better safe than sorry! And don’t forget your sunscreen. It can get pretty chilly in the evenings. This time of year it’s best to bring layers. The temperature in Flagstaff is expected to be in the high 70s during the day and into the mid 40s at night.
